Share your idea, connect and collaborate, plan your next steps, and make your dream a reality!

Join the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce for an Idea Exchange led by Joel Bennett of Veel Hoeden Consulting. An Idea Exchange is exactly what it sounds like - bring your new ideas, expansion plans for existing business, or whatever your dreams may be for a workshop to help you get to the next step in your journey. Your plans can be at any stage of the planning process from only in your mind to a written out business plan. Our goal is to encourage growth, development, and launch of small businesses through harnessing the power of collaborative, community-based idea exchanges.

This workshop is for high school students and beyond and offers a competition free environment where you will be surrounded by a supportive community of people who want to help you succeed in Knoxville.

The Idea Exchange will take place on Wednesday, November 6 from 6-8 pm at the Root Cellar in Knoxville, Iowa. Participants MUST register in advance. This event is free, open to all, and can only accommodate 20 participants.

A man-made blizzard of epic proportion!

During 2019 Living Windows: A Hometown Holiday on Thursday, November 21, the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce will host Knoxville's first ever snowball drop. What is a snowball drop, you ask? Think hundreds of ping pong balls falling to the ground. Each ball will have a number that corresponds to a local business that will be providing deals for Small Business Saturday on Saturday, November 30.

All snowballs will be dropped in downtown by Santa Claus at 5:30 pm. Only people 18+ can collect up to 3 snowballs.

Local business deals will be posted soon!
