Knoxville Community School District will be sharing it's participation in the Future Ready Iowa initiative to help build Iowa's talent pipeline. Learn how your business can host students, provide internships, apprenticeships, and help mold your workforce before they are even done with high school.
Iowa Workforce Development has a mission to "Power Iowa’s possibilities by connecting workers to opportunities and employers to workforce solutions." A representative will let your know what resources are available to you for recruiting and inform you of programs and educational opportunities you have right here in Marion County.
Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services works for and with individuals who have disabilities to achieve their employment, independence, and economic goals. Many times businesses have questions or are hesitant to hire an alternative workforce. Have no fears because Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services is a resource to help you!
This session does not include lunch but all are welcome to bring their lunch along with them to enjoy during the hour of learning. Please note that this session is free for all Chamber members and employees and $10 for all non-members. It will be located at the Knoxville Community School District's Administrative at 309 W Main Street from noon-1:00 pm on Tuesday, August 28.
