Log off your computer, turn off your phone, take a break from your day job, join your community, and put up a sign that you’re Out for Lunch.
Every 4th Thursday this summer, Knoxville Chamber of Commerce & Knoxville Wellness Coalition are encouraging you to utilize your lunch break and take your lunch outside. Taking a midday break during Out for Lunch will actually make you more productive by reducing stress, boosting your mood, improving your concentration, aiding in creativity, lowering your risk of chronic disease, and giving you an excuse to get out and enjoy your community.
All are welcome to bring their own lunch or Hy-Vee will have their grill on location with lunch for purchase. KNIA/KRLS will also be on site with their Lil Big Red Radio playing music.
