Every August our population triples for four days and becomes one giant party to celebrate sprint car racing’s biggest event in the world – The Knoxville Nationals. Many people come for the racing but it’s the community that makes the Knoxville Nationals so special. While you are here, we hope you enjoy yourself and take advantage of our small town, Iowa charm. We are eagerly looking forward to the 65th Annual Nos Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey’s.

If you’re staying local and looking for a place to shower, you can shower at the National Guard Armory for $3 from 7am-12pm. The Armory is located at 1015 N. Lincoln St.
