Are you looking to enjoy the Knoxville Nationals but not camped out on top of each other?  Do you enjoy the peaceful, quiet days before heading into the jam-packed roaring Knoxville Nationals?  We may have the property for you.  We have a small water front cabin along the Des Moines River in Tracy (about 20 minutes east of Knoxville).  The cabin is situated with a serene view of the Des Moines River and the historic Bellfountaine bridge.

When we purchased the cabin about 6 years ago, the cabin had seen better days.  My handy husband and father-in-law gutted and renovated it.  The cabin itself is a 12 x 20 floor plan.  The cabin includes a small kitchenette with full size refrigerator and full size stove/oven.  The living room includes a comfy full-size leather couch with a small wall-mount TV.  Upon renovation of the cabin, we added indoor plumbing which boasts a small but efficient bathroom including a custom shower stall and toilet (although the outhouse still stands if you want to ‘rough it’).  The uniqueness of the cabin is in the second floor sleeping loft.  Upstairs we have two beds (one queen and one full size).  The sleeping areas are connected by a catwalk at the front of the cabin; you’ll have your own sleeping space but will still close to one another.

In addition, we have a great outdoor space with covered porch, hammock chair, custom-made swing for those afternoon naps, gas and charcoal grills, patio table, and large fire pit.  Fish during the day, race at night (fishing gear and Iowa fishing license are NOT supplied).  Possibility of an additional RV hook up (additional charge may apply.)

We are not ADA or handicap compliant.  No smoking.  No pets.

This space  would be great for a couple or a couple of friends.  $200/night for 2 people with $200 deposit (returned via Venmo on last day/after departure to ensure no damage).
